Living
Upon entry to this lovely living room you will see silk Fortuny sconces from Venice, a cloudy silver metallic paint treatment on the walls, an Italian bombe chest, a silver-leafed antique frame with mirror, and bronzed wrought iron rods supporting golden draperies with a subtle Byzantine medallion pattern.
Bedroom
A spare bedroom was transformed into a sleek media lounge/home office. The style is space-age moderne meets Hollywood glamour, with chrome, stainless steel, crystal and mirrored elements. This room features silver silk pillows, a graphic area rug, an Eames style office chair, and the finishing touch - a Sputnik chandelier.
Bay Cornice
Tones in teal, turquoise, gray, chocolate and ivory contribute to the southwestern pattern on this bay window cornice set. Taking the custom cornice boards to the ceiling visually lengthens the windows and lends a more spacious feeling to the room.
Cornice
The coloring of this graphic cornice fabric, highlighted by teal contrast welt, ties in with other accessories as well as cherished western style artwork displayed in the living area.
Accent
The right area rug can do wonders to tie your favorite elements of a room together.
Bedroom
This upstairs master is a study in Old Hollywood styling, replete with French accents. New skylights, carpet, Marvin wood windows, creamy paint, wrought iron bed frame, Italian bedding, bronzed iron lamps with dupioni silk shades and a glamorous, mirrored chest of drawers – all bring fresh direction to a once dated space.
Chair
This oversized bedroom chair was reupholstered in a wonderfully graphic fabric. The shimmery brush fringe ties into the metallic element woven into the fabric.
Living
The front room of our design studio fuses Mediterranian Revival with elements of the Southwest and Modern accents. An antique sofa and chair reupholstered in a sumptuous velvet sit before a brick wall glazed and finished by hand. Custom ikat pillows and a flatweave area rug pair with the simple and classic modernity of the side lamp and coffee table. Twisted iron rods with turquoise silk draperies frame shutters metering the afternoon glow. A Spanish style wrought iron chandelier illuminates the space further.
Accent
Wow factor in the form of teal is the result of this color consultation.
Accent
Teal niches inset in pearl gray walls form the backdrop for a new ottoman and pair of chairs upholstered in fabrics chosen by Madera Sky's designer.
Accent
A serene space is created by pearl gray walls coordinated beautifully with a new gray couch designed with a gentle curve. The throw pillows match the chairs and are accented with silvery brush fringe.
Accents
This Surya rug and a splash of color on a wall was all it took to tie together existing pieces in this view of a Green Valley living room.
Accents
Reupholstery of this recliner in a designer fabric makes for a one of a kind piece and complements the Southwestern/Tribal aesthetic in another view of this same living room.
Bedding
Happy, bright colors featuring teal, purple, and pink make the Asian tropical theme bedding really pop. The custom Euro and standard shams plus the sweet bird accent pillow coordinate with the bedspread and matching drapery panels, all designed by Tiffany.
Draperies
Sometimes it's the smallest detail that sets a design apart. These covered buttons elevate the presentation and match the contrast welt on the bedspread.
Accents
Sometimes all we need is a comfortable place to sit down, a kind word, and a few pillows that no one else in the world has...
Living Room
In this living room you see a multi-layered glazed and stippled wall finish, a classic sleigh-arm sofa in its custom cream slip cover, a velvet armchair with large nail head accents, a custom designed tufted leather ottoman, wool area rug, and a side table topped with an antique silk embroidered piano shawl.
Cornice
Never underestimate the power of a custom cornice! This dramatic piece, finished with braided cord and studded with hammered iron nail heads, gives a pop of saturated color in just the right proportion for this bay window.
Kitchen
The granite table top upon a cast iron base in this breakfast nook matches the counters. Custom roman valances hide the energy efficient cellular shades fronting new Marvin wood windows made to look like vintage leaded glass. Glazed maple crown molding and baseboards match the cabinet hardwood.
Kitchen
This kitchen was taken down to the studs! A bay window was installed where there wasn't one. We as well see custom maple cabinetry with a glazed cream finish, glass fronts with display lighting, oil rubbed bronze hardware, under cabinet task lighting, Marmoleum (natural linoleum) checkerboard flooring, and custom roman valances.
Kitchen
Believe it or not, you’re looking at the under counter Sub-Zero refrigerator & freezer! Everything is new in this small kitchen including a pocket door, tumbled marble backsplash with custom made Pratt & Larson tile insets, and granite slab counters. This remodel was featured in the Architectural Heritage Center's Kitchen Revival Tour in Portland, Oregon.
Dining
This delicious dining room dons an antique chandelier, raised-relief Anaglypta wallpaper with a deep green metallic paint finish, custom silk plaid balloon shade valances, wood blinds, a Flemish tapestry purchased in Vienna, and a sisal area rug with a dyed pattern.
Bathroom
The unearthing of the original tile floor inspired this Art Deco styled tub surround that features custom Pratt & Larson tile. A beveled mirrored top replaced ‘80s era tile on the vanity and new jadeite knobs & pulls were added. Above, a crisp white silk top-down bottom-up roman shade covers the window.
Bathroom
The style for this bathroom was inspired by Art Deco-era apartments in Paris. The custom-cut mirror for the medicine chest mimics the arch over the tub. The black & white accent scheme continues with a stamped fleur-de-lis border while the new pedestal sink features a faucet set with antique puffy porcelain knobs.
